Look Mom! No Wires

Every Halloween the first prop that goes out is my Casket. I built it using the toe pincher plans. They came from one website that is now no more, and were given away by another website that now is just a costume shop.. so here it is.

Halloween officially ends when the coffin is put away. Today was that day.

Now that the coffin is gone I thought I would share how I provide wires for power and sound.  I bury them.

A couple of years ago when I was installing my sprinkler I decided to bury a 2 inch pipe to run extension cords under my walkway.

Under the walkway I have the pipe exit inside a sprinkler valve control box.

From there I run the power or speaker cords to the garage.

Here you see the distance I run the cord. There is also a pipe run from the tree to the corner of the yard as well.
